37 years ago I met my wife Kathy, who then introduced me to the second love of my life, Bonner County. Kathy’s family are lifetime residents of Bonner County and I knew that this is where I wanted to live and raise my family. Kathy and I have three grown children and five wonderful grandchildren.

I have been actively involved in many aspects of the community in my time here. I’ve coached youth baseball, football, girls’ volleyball. My wife and I were also Youth Leaders at our church and I led the Praise team along with other members of our family. I have also been in leadership positions in a number of community charitable projects and associations, always looking to help those in need in Bonner County.

After college, I went into the roofing industry and ultimately became the Vice President and General Manager of a large commercial roofing company in California. In 1996 I was offered the opportunity to move to Idaho and expand the area for my previous employer as a commercial roof consultant and representative.  I’ve managed projects for over 90 clients throughout North Idaho and Eastern Washington. My position requires finding solutions for complex problems, setting budgets, performing design and specifications and managing multiple projects.

I plan to bring my problem solving, organizational and business experience to the office of Commissioner. I look forward to serving the people of Bonner County with sound fiscal discipline while protecting the unique culture that is Bonner County.
