Residential Appraisal Division
Bonner County’s residential appraisers manage the valuation of all residential property types, including detached single-family dwellings, attached townhomes, multi-family residential up to four-units, and manufactured housing.  Residential appraisers analyze construction costs and sales of residential properties to develop assessment values.
Residential District Area Descriptions
District 1 is our second largest district covering 831 sq. miles and having 10,221 parcels stretching from mountains to lakefront and the backcountry including the areas of Clark Fork, Hope, Colburn, Garfield Bay and Lakeview.Â
District 2 is our largest district with 12,923 parcels spanning south from the shores of Pend Oreille River and southwest of highway 95 it spans 380 sq. miles including Sagle, Oldtown and Blanchard.
District 3 area has one of the most pristine lakes in Idaho, Priest Lake. It spans over 700 sq. miles with 8147 parcels including Priest River, Laclede, Coolin and Nordman.
District 4 Â Is a large area with 8057 parcels. This area which Including the county seat of Sandpoint the shore lines of Lake Pend Oreille and the Pend Oreille River as well as the Dover Bay waterfront community and the world class ski resort Schweitzer.
