General Notice:

Bonner County Road & Bridge Department is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Cocolalla Loop Road Bridge Replacement

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Bonner County Commissioners Office located at 1500 US-2 Suite 308, Sandpoint, ID 83864, until Thursday November 19th, 2026 at 9:20 AM local time. Bids will be publicly opened 10 minutes later and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Replacement of the existing bridge where Cocolalla Loop Road crosses Cocolalla Creek. Includes roadway approaches, utility coordination, erosion control, traffic control, riprap armoring, dewatering, and associated appurtenant work.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Cocolalla Loop Road Bridge Replacement

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Information and Bidding Documents for the project can be obtained from the Bonner County Road & Bridge Dept at 1500 Hwy 2 Suite 101, Sandpoint ID 83864 or by emailing roads@bonnercountyid.gov.

Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the Road & Bridge Dept as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be sent to the members on the plan holders list. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Road & Bridge Dept.

Instructions to Bidders

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal.  Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Bonner County Road & Bridge Dept as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

Bonner County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of Bonner County.
