The Bonner County Sheriff Marine Division will be applying for Waterway Improvement Grants through Idaho Parks and Recreation to replace aging outboard engines. If successful, the competitive grants will be awarded in FY18.  A public comment session will be held at the Bonner County Waterways monthly meeting on January 18, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in Bonner County Admin Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, ID.

Garfield Bay Campground Grant Application

Water System Replacement Upgrade – RV Grant Fund Application to Idaho Parks & Recreation Department

Preliminary design to install new water system with a cistern and booster pump to provide potable water to every two camp sites.

Overall estimated cost of upgrade:  $296,550.50
RV Grant Funds applied for:  $271,550.50
Bonner County Matching Funds:  $25,000.00

Garfield Bay Campground

Campground Site Plan

A county maintained campground. There are  11 RV camp sites, 10 drive-in tent sites, a group camp, as well as 15 tent only sites. The sites are available for $15, $12, and $10 a night and can be reserved by calling (208) 255-5681 ext.4.
