Resident Phone System Information

The Bonner County Juvenile Detention Center Resident Phone System is available to all residents seven (7) days a week..

  • Residents will only be able to call parents, grandparents, and guardians unless specifically approved by the Detention Manager and/or Director.

  • All contact phone numbers must be entered into the system by detention center staff prior to the resident making calls to the number.

  • A Resident’s initial booking phone call is free, after that all calls will be paid calls.

  • Phone calls to attorneys, clergy, probation officer, parole officer, caseworker, reporting hotlines, and counselors will be free of charge.

  • Paid phone calls will be a maximum of 20 minutes in length

  • All paid phone calls will be recorded to an offsite location. Calls to attorneys and counselors will not be recorded or monitored.

  • Residents may only call individuals who have deposited money in an account that is tied directly to the individual’s phone number.  For example, if a resident wishes to call a parent, the parent must first deposit funds in an account tied to their phone number.

  • There are 2 ways to create an account and deposit funds.  Parents, grandparents or guardians may call 702-829-3001 (C-Tel), or go online at www.inmatesales.com 

  • Any refunds for money deposited on an account will be handled directly through C-Tel.

  • To deposit money into a resident's phone account, you will need their inmate number. Please call the Bonner County Juvenile Detention Center at 208-263-1602 to obtain this number.
