The 2026 solid waste stickers will be mailed in a separate mailing from your taxes at the beginning of December. 

A solid waste sticker is required to access Bonner County Solid Waste collection sites, otherwise fees apply.  Each home that pays a solid waste fee will receive 2 solid waste stickers.  

No extra or replacement stickers will be issued except in cases of verified windshield damage or vehicles accident.  Please contact our office in those cases.  

Landlords, please supply your tenants with their stickers otherwise they will have to pay to utilize the collection sites. 

Having a solid waste sticker allows you to dump up to 3 yards of household trash. Household trash includes everyday items such as food scraps, packaging, clothing, paper, yard waste, glass and plastic, as well as bulkier items like old furniture and mattresses.  It also encompasses household hazardous waste such as batteries, cleaning products, and solvents that require special handling and disposal to prevent harm to people and the environment.
