Call for Military Memorabilia Donations

Coeur d’Alene VFW Post #889

Coeur d’Alene, ID

NO

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 889, located at 406 N 4th St, Coeur d'Alene, ID, is launching a special project to preserve and honor military memorabilia from the families of veterans. If you have collected trophies, awards, decorations, uniforms, or unique items from the military—including photographs—that you’re not sure what to do with, we invite you to donate them to VFW Post 889.

These cherished items will not be sold or used for profit; instead, they will be showcased in positions of honor and display for the community to appreciate and remember the sacrifices of our veterans.

Donations can be dropped off at VFW Post 889 every Tuesday morning between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. While you’re here, enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and donuts, and often a free breakfast as well. All donations will be recognized, and if you need documentation for tax purposes, we will provide you with a letter to cover those requirements.
