Alcohol Beverage Licenses

Obtaining a New Beverage License

Before applying for your Bonner County Alcohol Beverage License, you must be in possession of a current state alcohol beverage license.

Bring a SIGNED copy of your Idaho Alcohol Beverage License to our office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. We will generate the Bonner County Alcohol Beverage License Application based on how your State License was issued. You will sign the County Application and pay your fees. We will submit your License to the Bonner County Commissioners’ office to be placed on the agenda for their next business meeting. This process can take a couple of weeks to complete, so please plan accordingly.

Transferring a Beverage License

Appear in our office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. with a copy of your SIGNED state license showing the new license holder. The fee to transfer a beverage license is $20.00.

Temporary Beverage License

We are unable to issue a county beverage license from a temporary state issued license (pink in color). You will need to wait until you have received your issued state license.

Catering Permits

State and county beverage licenses must be current and a copy of the state license must be presented at the time of application. If the catered event is within city limits, you must get a catering permit from that specific city, not the county. The fee for a catering permit is $20 per day.
