Meet The Assessor

Meet Dennis Engelhardt, the dedicated Assessor of Bonner County. Since taking office on June 6, 2023, He has committed himself to ensure fair and equitable property assessments for all county residents.

With a profound respect for the rights of property owners, he upholds a strict policy against property inspections without the owner's written permission, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to privacy and due process. His approach to assessment is rooted in transparency and fairness, ensuring that every resident's property is evaluated accurately and impartially. A proud 20-year resident of Bonner County, Dennis brings with him two decades of extensive experience in administration and management. 

His background equips him with the skills necessary to lead the Assessor's Office with efficiency and integrity. Having a deep connection to the community, combined with his professional expertise, positions him as a trusted and capable steward of Bonner County's property assessment processes.
