Moratorium
The Bonner County Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 721, establishing a moratorium on all Minor Land Division (MLD) applications.
This action was taken to address inconsistencies in the land use code that have led to conflicting interpretations and challenges in applying infrastructure and safety standards. The moratorium will allow time for the County to review and revise its regulations to ensure they support clear, consistent, and responsible development.
Property owners may still apply for Short Plat or Subdivision applications during this period. The moratorium is in effect from May 19, 2025, through October 1, 2025, unless otherwise repealed or extended pursuant to Idaho Code 67-6523.
